A new canopy for this red hot Ranger meant a new electrical system. We stripped out the existing dual battery system and replaced it with a new and improved setup for Patch to take on the road, with some other new additions.

This setup features a 100AH slimline lithium battery, 1200W 12-240V inverter, hardwired 12V air compressor, solar input, interior and exterior lighting, reverse camera and head unit upgrade with Apple Carplay. Lighting includes custom interior strips and 4 exterior flood lights.

We installed a Cruising Customs 12V switchboard which houses the DC-DC charger and protective gear and acts as the brains of the setup, with an accurate battery monitoring system to keep track of everything coming in and out of the battery. This switchboard is developed by CC in a compact powder-coated waterproof box. These switchboards not only perform important functionality tasks, but they also allow a lot of the cabling to be neatly hidden away and protected and it means we don't have to build anything in the canopy to house this Ford Ranger electrical setup.
