Declan’s Toyota LandCruiser troopy setup
When someone comes to us and says they’re setting up their Troopy to take it on a lap of Australia, we’re immediately keen to help. A Landcruiser tackling our rugged landscapes and camping in incredible locations is iconic. We love providing reliable and safe dual battery systems as part of a Troopy setup, to make life on the road a bit easier and more luxurious.
An on-board air compressor to easily adjust tyre pressure, fans to cool you down at night and a reliable fridge to keep the drinks cold are just some of the benefits of a properly installed electrical system. This Troopy opted for much more than that though… take a look at all the inclusions in this project rundown.

COMPACT & TIDY TROOPY SETUP
Troopcarriers might be pretty massive, but every inch of storage matters when you’re living on the road. We only had a small space to work with to hold the majority of the electrical gear.
Our dual battery system in this Troopy setup is ultra compact and tidy.
Side Vent modifications
These High Country Fabrication side vent modifications are awesome.
We hooked up an ARB twin onboard air compressor with output at the side vent.
A 12v water pump & plumbing to the side vent.
Plus another auxiliary portable solar input.
